At least 62 killed in plane crash at South Korea airport

A plane carrying 181 passengers has crashed at an airport in South Korea, killing at least 62 people.

Yonhap News Agency reported that the plane skidded off the runway and crashed into a wall at Muan International Airport in the southwest of the country.

The Jeju Air plane carrying 175 passengers and six crew members was returning from Bangkok, Thailand, when it crashed while landing.

Two people have been found alive and rescue operations are underway, fire officials told Reuters.
